About the Artist

Sally Balestrieri, AKA Sally Kat, grew up in Maryland, earned a Bachelors of Fine Art degree from New York's Pratt Institute, loved living in the PNW, and now lives in Huntsville, Alabama with her husband and three cats.  

Inspired by forests and wildlife, pets, astronomy,

fashion and architecture, to name just a few...

Sally enjoys creating in many mediums:  watercolor, acrylic, fabrics, wood, and mixed media.  

She is a self-taught digital artist, a professional dress and pattern-maker, and a published children's book illustrator.
